We all spend this note and I am sure some of us don't even bother to know who's on our Naira, well even me too until I stumbled on this and I must say that I'm very impressed by Madam Ladi Kwali and her exploits. Nigeria is blessed with great minds!

She is Nigeria's best known potter who was awarded a Doctorate and was made MBE in 1963 for the level of detail and skill she utilized while making her pots. 

Ladi Dosei Kwali (1925-1983) popularly known as Dr Ladi Kwali was born in 1925 in Kwali town in the present Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria. I join other well meaning Nigerians to celebrate this great woman!

[PHOTO]Afghan Police shoot down 'Suicide Bomber' Bird.

Now they are putting bombs in animals?  Afghan police  shot dead a bird which had been equipped by the Taliban with a bomb.

Alert officers spotted the suspicious bird in the Faryab province in the north of the country.
According to NBC,the bird had several wires protruding from its feathers, a mobile phone detonator and a specially designed 'suicide vest'.

Police were also suspicious about the large bird, because it was not native to the area and was bigger than an early
Major General Abdul Nabi Ilham told NBC News that the bird exploded when it was shot and 'suspicious metal stuff' was scattered around.Ilham added;

'We are gathering all the stuff, but found parts of what looks to be GPS and a small camera.'

With Miss "Curves" around and some other alleged curved girls around I guess toolz is feeling threatened as maybe the spot light is no more on her. 

Toolz decided to share a picture on her Instagram page showing her body with the help of a waist trainer.

Chinese farmer builds a $5,000 home made submarine.

An enterprising Chinese chicken farmer has built an orange submarine powered by five car batteries, Agence France-Presse reports.

44-year-old Tan Yong bolted together his two-tonne craft, christened the "Happy Lamb" after a popular cartoon character, at a cost of around $5,000 and has steered it down to depths of 26 feet. "I never studied this in school, I've based everything on my imagination," he said. "I can stay underwater for 45 minutes."

Men of my Generation are not romantic - Clarion Chukwura.

Clarion stated that men are full of themselves that they have large doses of carryovers from the generation of their parents and grandparents.

She noted that despite the fact that her generation were not romantic, she feels that her son’s generation (Clarence Peter) were more romantic than hers.

“I would say that a greater percentage of Nigerian men are players; and the women have decided that their best way to fight back is to do what the men do. Now, both married men and women engage in extra-marital affairs. To them, it’s no big deal, it is fun,” she said.

Nigerian jailed for impersonating Maijd Michel.

A Nigerian man had been jailed in Ghana for 10 months with hard labour  .Kelvin Ogodogu who is based in Ghana was  arrested for defrauding a fan of actor Majid Michel.

Mr Ogodogu was nabbed on the 15th of November, 2014 when he told a woman on Facebook that he’s Majid Michel. He later solicited for funds from the US-based Nigerian woman identified as Ikay to bury his late mother.

Unfortunately for him, when the real Majid  met the lady in US during his last visit ,she asked him why he was requesting for money from her. They played along with the imposter till he was nabbed..
Kelvin was arraigned on Thursday before a Magistrates Court in Teshie, Ghana where he was sentenced to 10 months with hard labour .
